Human Resources (HR) Strategy Oriented Towards Structural Changes in the European Union

A project by Business and Professional Women (BPW) Germany Club Berlin

The central goal of the BPW Club Berlin as a promoter of SWOPS was to develop a Human Resources (HR) Strategy Oriented Towards Structural Changes in the European Union and to achieve equal opportunities for women and men in the acquirement of decision-making positions.

Project period: July 2014 – July 2016

A key result of SWOPS is: More women in management positions, both in terms of equal opportunities in our society as well as to timely respond to demographic change. SMEs that aim to successfully operate in the medium- and long-term will have to rise to this challenge. A sound technical advice from the outside can already make a big difference in order to achieve greater satisfaction among employees. The SWOPS publications provide executives and personnel managers with practical recommendations for a positive effect of its implementation on the company’s success and the working atmosphere and create a competitive advantage:

  • SWOPS Good Practices Catalog in four languages (de, en, fr, se) with recommendations for the implementation of Structural Change-oriented HR strategy
  • SWOPS HR Consultancy tool – an open consultancy model for companies and consultants
  • SWOPS Comparative Country Analysis on Equal Opportunities
